SHREWSBURY, MA. — A driver was rescued Tuesday afternoon after their SUV went into Lake Quinsigamond near the Corazzini Boat Ramp, according to Shrewsbury police.
The vehicle, which was still attached to a boat on its trailer, began rolling into the water. A bystander quickly jumped into action and helped pull the driver to safety before the SUV became almost fully submerged.
Police said both the SUV and the boat were later recovered by a local towing company.
