WORCESTER, Mass. — A Massachusetts man wanted on multiple charges was arrested in Webster following a coordinated effort between the Worcester and Westminster Police Departments, authorities said.
According to police, Barry Hanson was wanted on three counts of intimidation of a witness. Investigators located him at an apartment in Webster, where he was later stopped in a rental vehicle and taken into custody by Worcester police on Oct. 31.
At the time of his arrest, Hanson had 11 open charges on his record, police said. Seven of those charges involved illegal firearm possession, including possession of large-capacity firearms and possession without a permit as a career criminal.
