WORCESTER, Mass. — First responders in Worcester were dispatched to Country Club Boulevard on Wednesday afternoon after a collision involving a motor vehicle left a young bicyclist injured and requiring emergency care.
Emergency personnel arrived near 126 Country Club Blvd. shortly before 4:00 p.m. following reports of a crash between an automobile and a child riding a bicycle.
According to representatives from the Worcester Police Department, the child was conscious when medics arrived at the scene and was subsequently transported to a local hospital for further medical evaluation. Authorities have not yet released updates regarding the extent of the child’s injuries or the circumstances leading up to the incident.
The collision remains under investigation by local law enforcement.
